Re: Did the TON! Well.....almost - 98 MPH Udouble, Glad you tried to get it, maybe next time will be better. Get a nice tailwind and you'll break the ton. Hell, if I ever got a 98% in my school days I would have been stoked!

Glutton for punishment 71 Yamaha cs3

Great build! Love the tank color. Thats a shame about the cylinders. Loose coils maybe? Had the same problem on my 750 and turned out to be a loose electrical connection to one of the coils. This made it test fine sitting still, but would crap out on the road.

    "what'cha drinking tonight?"

Favorite bike building combo is to start with a coffee, hot or iced depending on the day, and when that's about mostly gone start a harpoon or blue moon. Big fan of the citrus brews.

    ANOTHER electrical thread

Heyo, So this might not be entirely helpful, but I had a similar problem last year on my cb750. Cylinder 2 and 3 kept on mis-firing, and I thought I had illuminated the electrics from the possible suspects. Went off on a tear trying to get the gas/air ratio right thinking I had mis-jetted the...

Welcome timbra_co, This looks much like my first bike, a cb400, when I first got it. Also, I saw your electrical problem thread, I will post an answer there instead of here. Hope progress goes well for you! -A

Hi from Denmark - Guzzi owner

Per, I figured I would return the favor and post on your intro thread. Great looking bike! My dad had a similar Guzzi a while back, but I was a bit younger and don't remember what the model was exactly that he had. Yours is in much nicer shape. I like that your interested in the riding and...

    Hello From southern New Hampshire

Perter, Thank you for the hello. To bad about your 350, those are fun bikes. And yes, as the seat was in the photo, it is a skateboard seat pan, but that's just the start! Below are some photos of where it is at now. It has 4 layers of foam (cut from a blue ground camping mat from Walmart) and...

    Hello From southern New Hampshire

Hello DTT, Been reading and getting advise second hand from this site for almost a year now, finally made a profile and started lending my 2 cents very recently. Excited to get involved. Been around bikes my whole life from my fathers interest in British motorcycles, but didn't really catch the...

    Mystery Petcocks need rebuild

Hello all. First post here. I have in my possession two petcocks that need to be rebuilt. They both leak a little bit and flood my carbs. They came off of a 1976 CB750F Supersport, but I believe they are not stock. The inner thread diameter to the bung is 7/8". The PO had a slew of Harley parts...
