Some front preload is definitely part of the plan. Just not sure the best method to do it?

Thanks Crazy and Swamp. I have ordered some of the Mostyn shocks. Hopefully they're an improvement over the stock items. I can't justify the price of the Ikon shocks but I don't doubt they are worth the money.
