    2x gs850 pistons & CB360 parts

Selling 2 pistons leftover from my cb360 project. I bought 4, only needed 2, hopefully somebody else can use them in their cb360. Asking $20 for both. I also have a bunch of leftover CB360 parts, just ask what you need and I'll see if I have it and send a picture. Key items I DON'T have is...

    CB360 spokes

So I went ahead and bought stainless cb350f spokes from dime city cycles, and to answer my own question and possibly inform anyone else wondering, they are the same as cb360 spokes. Also, Dime city was cheaper than buchannans for the exact same spokes and had free shipping, even to Canada which...

    CB360 spokes

Are cb 350 and cb 360 spokes the same with the same front brake configuration? I'd like to get some stainless spokes for my cb360 (zinc spokes didn't hold up well for me). Buchannan's quoted me $118 per wheel plus some bullshit added shipping fee to Canada, so think I'll be ordering from dime...

    '74 cb360 build

Well I've gotten quite a bit done since my last post. I've been meaning to update my progress a little more, but I'd rather be working on my bike than writing about the work I've done on my bike ;D. Anyways, I've got the engine finished, and the wheels built and mounted. So as I mentioned...

    '74 cb360 build

It's been a little while since my last post and I'm bored at work so I figured I'd give a little update. I've pretty much got the wheels built. I had the hubs powder coated, used new spokes from 4 into 1, and rims from mikesxs. I've built bmx wheels in the past and didn't find it too...

Paint over powdercoat or start over?

I had to get a few parts powder coated, and figured I might as well drop off my gas tank to get powder coated as well. The place I go to is an industrial powder coater and any small shit I drop off they basically throw in with the next batch of that colour....not exactly custom showroom finish...

Well that was quick lol. I haven't received them yet, but I am in Canada so I'm not sure what the shipping would be like.

    '74 cb360 build

I just bought some gs pistons off ebay, so I guess I'm officially going the cb378 route. I should point out that I'm in Canada and everything is more expensive so mentioning your $70 bore job compared to my quoted $200 makes me a little envious ;D. So.....anybody interested in 2 gs850...

    '74 cb360 build

Yeah, I'm definitely leaning toward to the 378 conversion using gs850 pistons, according to my calculations, it'll cost me about $400 and my cheapness is the only thing stopping me ;D. Is there a specific year of gs850 pistons that work?

    '74 cb360 build

Figured I'd write a bit of an update, although I haven't made much progress.......quite the opposite really. I started painting the engine covers and components. I sandblasted them and used dupli-colour engine enamel in flat black (or as they call it, "low gloss black"). The instructions...

    Paint over powdercoat

The place I go to for power is an industrial shop that they basically throw it in with the next batch, so I don't exactly get a custom finish, just black. But it is cheap. Figure just use a spray bomb on top of the powder after scuffing it. I'm just not sure if I should use a primer, or an...

    Paint over powdercoat

I'm almost at the stage of painting my gas tank. I'm planning on doing it black on the bottom, and white on the top. To get the black, I had the thought to get it powdercoated with some other stuff getting coated at the same time, then painting the top white after. I've heard that powdercoat...

    1976 CB-125S

These old Hondas are quite easy to restore due to readily availability of parts, service manuals, and forums like this with all the advice you will need. If you want to restore it, it can easily be done, the only thing to consider is what you want to spend on it, as that will largely determine...

    CB360 air filters

It seems to be common knowledge that pod filters aren't ideal on a cb360, although I've read that the K&N pods are decent. Anybody try UNI filters on a 360? How do they compare?

    '74 cb360 build

I bought this '74 cb360 in the summer thinking I could at least get it running before winter. I got one almost complete bike, and a rolling chasis with a rubbermaid bin full of a disassembled engine and other parts. Not realizing how little free time I have, i'm only now feeling like I'm...

    Cb360 cam journals

I'm working on a cb360 project over the winter. I just opened up the original engine, plus i have the engine from the parts bike both apart. The cam journals in both engines look a little rough. Do I need a new head or can either one be used?
