Is the vacuum port plugged? Maybe that's your problem. I know I've forgotten to plug it on occasion with similar symptoms on my kz650. Can't tell from your pics or video.
A good sharpie followed by trial and error might work well.
I've also taken that same style nut off of my kz650 with the blunt end of a punch and a hammer. That didn't mar the nut too much, only cosmetic.

I took a deep socket long enough to reach and the proper size, then went at it with a dremel to make my own. Takes time, but only cost about 20 bucks and about an hour. Make sure you file those burrs off so you don't scratch that soft aluminum nut. Doesn't hurt to pad it with some tape either. I...
