Wondering how long it's safe to drive with this issue. Idle a little choppier than usual but otherwise running fine. Was contemplating a trip ~ 150 km each way.
Hey guys, like the title says I'm looking for someone good with vintage Japanese bikes in NYC. Need some help diagnosing some ongoing performance problems on a CB550f.
I ordered Keihin CR 29 mm carbs from Dime City a few years ago specifying that the bike was a CB550f. DCC says they fit but I think they're too big, so does Keihin, which says CB550 is supposed to get 26 mm. I've tried to downsize jets on these a few times now and I'm still struggling not to...
Spring Cleaning - $75 Grab Bag
Shocks are eye to eye, not eye to clevis so not CB550. no idea where I got them. Maybe fit a Kawi H1?
Also have fuse case from wiring harness CB550
Full set of turn signals and a variety of headlamps.
Will throw in vintage Arthur Fulmer Helmet.
Pick up in Toronto.
Black are aftermarket replacements for a 1976 CB 550F.
Blue are stock, I believe, model unknown but pretty sure it's the mid-70's CB750 (maybe 550K) because it has the raised lip for the air filter
Pick up in Toronto, ideally.
Stock seat from 1976 Honda CB550. Dark Brown.
Has modest tear in vinyl that will need to be re-stitched which you can see in photos. Not a big deal, can be done by hand and a vinyl repair kit will make it as good as new.
Someone who can pick it up in Toronto preferred.
Trying this again. See my other ads as well for vintage Honda stuff.

yes to title.
bike is a '72 originally but the replacement electrics are congruent parts from newer models for a little better reliability.
Oh, also missing is oil pump and pipes. I'll revise the initial post with that.
