I'd actually argue that you should raise your tank up about half to a whole inch, to get the bottom line to flow to the seat smoother. Then go to a local sheet metal worker and ask them to cut out knee dents and roll sheet metal in for you so that you can tuck your knees. Definitely get some...

Visit your local scrap yard, find a flat / tracker style seat from a 70s era honda or something. Strip down to base-pan, shape, mod, pad and send to an upholsterer. Cheapest way to do it, IMO
