If I went to a 3.50 in the front with the dual sport tires the speed rating is 93mph but I have read bad things about putting a larger tire on the front.
So far it is looking like the roadrider is a safe bet.

I would like to run this tire as I like the looks and they are really cheap. But the front would only be speed rated at 75mph and I'm not sure how the dual sport tires would handle.

Progress has pretty much came to a hault as we have started harvesting wheat so I am working from 7-10. What are your guys thoughts on installing new rings with a fresh hone? I am slowly getting parts in the mail also.

Another option would be to sell my carbs on eBay and buy a set of vm30 for it. What do you guys think?
Am in the process of cleaning the carbs and there seems to be a plug missing. Any ideas what I could use to plug it? Also am going to be running pods and a modified exhaust system. What is a good place to start with jetting?

Which cover do I need to take off to check on the top end? And I did have it running and there was no excessive noise coming from the top end. Would I be able to hear it
Got the engine out. I think I'm gonna buy someones whole clutch assembly off of eBay for $60. Working on getting the frame down to paint. I will sandblast it and then with either spray on POR15 or use spray cans. What do you guys think would be the best?
I screwed both adjusters on the cable all the way in and the adjuster on engine case all the way clockwise. Turn the adjuster on engine case counterclockwise until I felt resistance than clockwise ¼ turn. I would pull clutch lever after this part to see how much slack needed to be adjusted out...
