Thats crazy how people can leave a spacer out like that, I did realize it goes in both ways but is slightly longer on one side, the book had no reference for which way it goes in but maybe that was the problem?

Okay well I figured it out.. When I did the wheel bearings, the kit for the rear came with the one larger bearing for the rear hub...well I did the ones in the wheel but never changed that one because that one had no play, seal seemed ok..and...

Thanks for the replies!! I will post a picture of the bracket on a flat surface tonight once I get it removed.

Im going to take it off tonight after work and check it on a flat surface, I haven't installed the caliper yet, i have new pads in it and im just waiting for a new rear brake line so i dont know about the piston retracting.
