Posted he had a sweet Corbin seat for my KZ750. MONTHS later I see it and I was in luck, still collecting dust on the shelf :). Promptly sent some money, and received the seat which is in better shape than expected!
Thanks again!
Not the typical place to look for this part but figure maybe some of you may have one of these bikes laying around or parting out. :)
Looking to grab one of these for a build I'm about to take on! Upper rear shock mount.
I would like to keep the dual shock rear if possible, and from what I have read, GS1100 swingarm may do the trick. I would like to use the '99 R6 wheel(got the front and rear for $50 :) ) I already have which I believe is a 5.5" wheel and the GS1100 uses a 4.5" wheel.
Thoughts?
I have been toying with the idea of getting a small electric only welder for very light use. It would mostly be hobby stuff, with the biggest job most likely being welding exhaust pipe on a car. Sure I would prefer a MIG over a stick welder, but for something that I will be using VERY...
Picked up this gem with 10,856 on the clock. For $600 and running, can't pass it up!
Decided to start off small as I patiently await the UPS guy to deliver the first round of goodies to get the build started! So far just the side covers are done, thinking about doing the tank aswell but...

Lookin for a Seat and tank for '82 Kawasaki KZ750 LTD. Tank can have imperfections small dents on the outside but must be rust free on the inside. Seat can have rips or damage, really just need the pan.
I've done a fair amount of research, and I now know the process and what all is needed to complete the swap, but what donor bikes will work with a '82 KZ750 is what I am lacking. As I look around here there are pics TONS of bikes with swaps, but not a whole lot of info on what the bike the...
For my first "cafe" build, I for the most part have set myself on getting either a Honda CB or Kawasaki KZ as a 2nd choice.
I have my eye on a '82 Nighthawk 750, and really like the way the modern 3 spoke wheels look. I found the pic below where looks like a front end/rear wheel swap was...
I really like the way these two bikes look, but not quite sure what they started life out as. Pretty sure the first one is a Virago, but not sure of the size or year and the 2nd one.....not so sure. Kawasaki maybe?
Good spot to get manuals for your cages, and they also have a few bikes. Manuals available to download rotate about every hour.

Don't have a cafe just yet, in the process of selling my '04 GSX-R. Hopefully soon though! Probably check out Mods vs Rockers in Chicago 6/17 & 18 for some inspiration. Coming from a longer list of sportbikes, this will be my first non sports bike motorcycle. I have to admit, I am looking...
