Got rid of that awful stop light, put on the rear led brake light...rear led blinker, seat is on,
Installed a dyna s
just waiting on a new battery and carb rebuild kit
I moved the battery. Can anyone spot it? Haha
I also got a new front brake/lines and installed that. Still need to bleed it.....what's the difference between dot 4 and dot 3?
I could have sworn I had read that it was a 2 pin system and there was a 3rd cable that was just a ground. Ill have to look into what you said and see if i can make it work. otherwise ill get a 3 pin flasher.
Another interesting wiring question:
So i got a 2 prong led flasher with a ground. I plugged the 2 wire in and the ground to the green wiring cable. The flasher work and turn on/off but the flasher relay clicks constantly like the flashers are on?
Any idea of what can be going on here? seems...
I got the wiring done...interestingly the electric starter button isnt working (it just turns the headlight off) but everything else seems to work.. I can jump the starter still.
But here are some pics

I got these and based on the quality and finishing, I am expecting nothing but excellence from them. There are some cheaper ones on ebay...
Im going to put my battery under the swingarm where the stand used to be. its a ballistics 8 cell. I got the new air filters...pictures to come in a couple days. currently on vacation
Oh I didnt think of behind the headlight, I'm gonna look into this. I'm planning on using a brat style seat so unfortunetly wont have a hump to hide it. Will show pics hopefully by end of the week of the spot!
I got some KN filter oil just to be safe. What are thoughts on battery relocation spot? I have a tray for the electronics but the battery wont fit in it.
Is under the swing arm a good spot or is there someway to put it under the tank?
Thanks yea im interested as well. Im hoping its a pretty smooth switch over. Ill post some pics once I get them.
Yea has some rust, that's my next project to tackle once electrical is done. Thanks for the help!!
Any idea if these need to be modded to not block the opening and do they need to be oiled?
.....I like the look of those and will get them as I like the look and if better performance def. are worth it
Added some support beams for the seat mounting, got a magnetic drain plug, and added polished Allen bolts to the entire engine which I think looks really nice. Working on wiring next.
Also did an oil change and will be adjust cam chain, valves next
Thanks for the support all. I got the carbs and pods put on. Going to paint the headlight bucket hopefully tonight or tomorrow and see how it comes out. I got grey but not sure i like it. so we will see
"How did you cut it down and make it look so smooth?"
I taped it for exactly how i wanted it, then i cut it with an angle grinder. I then hit it with a flap disc on the angle grinder to smooth it, then used a fine grate to finish it all off.
thanks for the support guys! hoping to get some...
