Last time the cam timing was checked it was solid. Never had issues with the tensioner previously and it was set at the right point.

I have a 1980 CB750K (DOHC) that I cleaned up and did a couple light cafe mods too. It's not quite done yet but what's everyone think it's worth? I only ask because I see DOHC CB750 values all over the place. Stats: -17k and runs strong -General tune up with new tires and cleaned/rebuilt carbs...

Got my CL350 running a little over a week ago and had some starting issues when I was a little ways from home. I had it towed to a shop to have them take a look and just to give the bike a once over after all the work I did. The initial issue I was having was that I couldn't get it to start...

Re: CB/CL350 Engine Timing / Starting Issues So my compression is fantastic (150-160psi range). I have good solid spark with all new ignition components. I have fuel flow and wet carb floats. Turns out I needed to swap the spark plug wires...kind of a fail on my part. I'm not too surprised...
