Now I hope it runs. I could have started it with an spare gas tank but figured there's more excitement in putting it all together before I try.

Finished the gilding and paint and tried my hand at pinstripping (straight lines on fenders are tape). And I'm pretty pleased with my first go at making and upholstering a seat, sewing machines are cool. Now all thats left is a petcock and cleaning up some wiring and acorn nuts for the shocks.

The only real problem I see with using the passenger pegs is clearance with the stock exhaust. I just built a cb360 with loaded gun universal rear sets and no way could I use the stock exhaust and get the brake or shifter levers where I needed. oh yah and the kick stand is pretty inconvenient too.

I watched this auction, not because I like the bike, because I wanted to see if any real bidders would show up. There were over 20 bids on that thing from new flea-bay members with no bid history.....bumping up the price maybe? Anyhow to each his own.
