    1973 Honda CB350

Thanks for the tip. I also have the advantage of being in the shadow of a border crossing at Massena, NY. I have looked into getting a PO Box in Rooseveltown, and the funny thing is, most of their boxes are rented by Canadians. I'm not looking to avoid paying taxes or duties, I just don't...

    1973 Honda CB350

Thanks DrJ: I think I have a definitive answer, although I will try to confirm it with the original owner. The bike is a 73 350G, with the front end of a 72 350K4. It really make sense to me now. The change must have occured a long time ago because there is no evidence of a change ever having...

    1973 Honda CB350

The vin and engine number is at the top of this post. As you said earlier it matches a CB350G, but the forks and brake doesn't. There is no evidence of an accident or mods, so I don't understand.

    1973 Honda CB350

OK, I borrowed a camera and cable from work and took some photo's. I am posting the one that shows the bike best. I guess it is my 'before' shot, even though I have already done some minor work on it. The upper end of the headers were extermely rusty so I had to sand them. Now all that is...

Canadian Poll of Polls - Where are you located?

Currently located in Cornwall, Ontario. However I am trying to find a way to retire back to "The Rock" for good as soon as possible, or for those who don't know what 'The Rock' is, Newfoundland. More specifically St. Joseph's, Salmonier(1 hour south of St John's). I see there is at least a...

    Anyone In Eastern Ontario?

Since I brought my 73 CB350 home, I have spent countless hours on line trying to source parts(have lots of links now). I have also downloaded a couple of manuals as well as bought a Clymer manual. One of the things I am still trying to find out(in addition to my other post) is clubs or groups...

    1973 Honda CB350

Tim: Sorry about not being able to post any pictures yet(can't find USB cable). This is my fourth bike, but the first one I will need to do any real work on(previous ones were new). I have worked on cars for years, but because of my arthritis I had to quit. I have restored many cars, built...

    1973 Honda CB350

Thanks for the reply Woody, Brewtown, and Tim. Woody: There is one problem with the VIN and what the bike actually has. The VIN does seem to indicate it is a 350G, but it has a drum front brake and the fork setup of a 73 350K4. Now I found out the bike was bought in the town I live in, it has...

    1973 Honda CB350

Hello, I just joined this forum. I am a member of other forums, and am generally aware of the rules of joining a new forum, but I need some help. I just purchased a 1973 Honda CB350 that is running but needs an almost complete restoration. I have tried to get information from other sites(other...
