    Honda CB360 Cam Chain

Ok, ok ... My apologies for not giving credits due. At this point, just trying to get this POS back together again before investing any more time on performance. Appreciate the support folks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Honda CB360 Cam Chain

I had a eureka moment... I ordered a new 219 chain ... A longer one to make sure I had enough links. Had to order a chain tool for 219 tools (thanks to those kart guys out there). I got the chain linked back, and fitted it all back together. Time to set valves and points... Hmm something is...

    Honda CB360 Cam Chain

Here is more fuel for the fire. I haven't found much on broken cam chains or replacement: either this is a totally common occurrence or an incredible feat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Honda CB360 Cam Chain

Been on a long journey to rebuild my 1975 Honda CB360. This winter, had the cylinders honed to take new overbore pistons. Now put it all back together...dealt with a few minor issues...and started it up... Then something went "clunk" and everything stopped. I had the covers off - could see the...

Honda CB 360 tachometer is not working right

Thanks for the comment - I can hear it alright. The engine speed and the tach don't seem to be the same. Wondering if it might be the gear drive for the tach that is not in the right position in the top cover. Cj

Honda CB 360 tachometer is not working right

Hi there, been slowly progressing my build. I reconnected the tach cable to the engine and the tach itself. Wen I fire up the engine, the tach does not reach much more than 3000rpm. I took off the cable from the tach and rev'd again and the cable only seems to turn slowly. I replaced the...

Seat pan build. So I have finally decided on the type of seat I am working towards. Plan is to create a padded brat style cross cafe seat. Brat on the front, padded cafe on the back. I like the classic cafe bubble on the back, but am not good enough with the fiberglass and too cheap to buy...

Great idea on the speedo mount. I am going to "steal" that if ok. Also, can you tell me more about the need for a fender (front and or back) for your safety? CJ (Calgary ) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    CJsCB360 - Cafe Project

Thanks stogz. Sound like an interesting challenge. The funny thing is that none of this is terribly difficult. Just need a wiring diagram, a multimeter, and some patience, and time to map it all out for yourself. I found that investing some time and tracking down where the electrons went, was...

    CJsCB360 - Cafe Project

Thanks for the positive comments. "If you don't ride it, it will die". I am not worried about the battery not charging. One of those things that just needs to get figured out. A multimeter, some time and a couple of beers should do the trick. Seems like it is a pretty common issue with...

    CJsCB360 - Cafe Project

Well, it has been one year since we brought this baby home. It was apart, and a mess. Now here we are... The engine was rebuilt and now runs (albeit not well), but I rode it around in 1st gear last week. Took me 6 weeks to get it going, but I did it. Frame was stripped and painted The...
