    Nighthawk 250 progress

    Fits right into the forward pucks, but sits low at the back. I built mine up with a block of wood under the tanks tail and strapped it down with hose clamps.

    New Shop opened up in Fort Worth

    Cool. Hours are from 10 to 6 Mon - Friday 10 to 5 Sat. Eric is excitd to see all the cafe's and vintage bikes at this bike night. He is used to bike nights being dominated by modern sportbikes. He'll be in for a big surprise. BP give me a call at the shop and I'll get u a quote on those tires.

    Actually I took the old foam off and refoamed it with som High dense foam I got from a local shop. I painted the pan and while it was still wet set the foam on it to see where I needed to trim for the recesses. Trimed it out with a razor blade, glued it down and covered it. Should have the...

    Had the slides in on the wrong side. Had the cutout facing the engine. All is good now. Day 5 Pic. Still a little more to finish up. Wrap the pipes, wire headlight, and small details.

    Floats are set at 21mm. I switched bowls and all is good. Now, I have an idle problem. Brass adjusters all the way in (no threads showing), idle screws at 4 rounds out, and idle mixture screw at alomost 2 rounds out and it wants to idle at 2800 rpms. No air leaks on manifolds (tested with...

    HELP!!!!!! Left Side carb floats are hitting the bowl and not letting fuel in. Tried bending them a little (and I mean VERY little) to clear and they hit the housing them. Left side is fine, Any Suggestions?

    Had a few setbacks with painting the tank and am currently using the roller method as described elswhere on the forum. I have decide to take this bike more to a Brat than anything. Here is a rendering of the tank idea. The Kanjii says "Very Small" or Midget.

    CB200 '73 tracker project - DONE :D

    Re: CB200 '73 tracker project +1 Been dicking around with cleanup and paint and sand and polish for almost a month now just to have all the paint destroyed by using the wrong kind of clear (Epoxy vs laquer). A month wasted and all I have is a tore down bike.
