    Help ID this electrical component

You can replace with a 552 or upgrade to a 262. The 262 is an electromechanical unit that will flash LED lights at an appropriate rate. Sometimes the 552 has problems with LEDs.

    How do I reattach this?!?

I agree with the above. Usually there is an index mark on the brake actuator that puts the arm in the correct position. If its out of position proble is usually internal to the drum.

    Exhaust wrap

I've used exhaust wrap on a sports car and one of the benefits was a lower engine compartment temperature and cooler air into the intake. So yes, I think that the wrap will prevent some heat transfer to the air before that air goes over the engine.

Does this seat look silly on my bike???

If anything from above it looks a tad wide. Side view really complements the boxy shape of the tank. I'd interested to see a rear, street-level view. It looks like it may block out the tank. When your riding it nobody will ever get a good rear look. The side view looks great. But in reality is...

    Custom Side Cover Decals

You can order blank waterslide sheets off the Internet. Print them on a inkjet printer and them spray with a coat of Lacquer to seal them before applying. You can get vinyl printed at lots of places. I saw one store in a WalMart. You design artwork and bring it in.

    1974 CL360 cafe build

Only got the front wheel done this weekend. Spokes will have to be returned and swapped out for the rear wheel. The before - The after - I'd have gone ahead and mounted a new tire but waiting on new rim strip and tube.

appliance epoxy in place of primer (frame)

Although I don't have any direct experience covering epoxy paint with a color coat, my guess is it probably won't work. Epoxy paint was designed to give a nice hard, non porous surface. My guess is that the color coats won't adhere too well. Plus epoxy paint not only has a dry time, it has a...

    1974 CL360 cafe build

Regarding the tabs, good point. Something I'll probably consider next winter. Anyway been awhile since I posted, been busy with the kid's sports. Last I posted i was finishing the frame. Got the engine back on and while checking the cylinders found some stuck rings. Got a set of replacements...

    Automotive style ignition switch?

You mean one with a starter switch? Didn't see one at DCC but a marine ignition switch should work if it's rated for the current.

What do you use to stick new handgrips?

If I use anything, it's double-sided tape and gasoline. Something I learned for doing golf club gribs. I figure if golf club grips can withstand that torque, motorcycle grips are a walk in the park.

    Fair price for Sand blasting

If you can get your piece worked in, about $50. If not, there's usually a setup charge of about $25.

Wrinkle finish and other textured paints.

I've used the hammer-tone paint on some other projects with good results. It's especially good where you can't get the base material perfectly flat and smooth. If you can't get it smooth, any gloss finish will make all those defects stand out like a sore thumb. The other suggestion would be to...
