    Cafe Racers at SEMA

Agreed. That trailer is pretty awesome. the bike and car are whatevers, but if somebody gave me the bike or the car i'd be stoked regardless of questionable styling (in my eyes).

    Plastic fairing repair

I once had the same problem with the valence panels on my '71 Chevy Vega. What I did is I used is an epoxy over the cracks and fiberglass/resin for the missing pieces (you can probably just use fiberglass resin for the cracks. I just used it cuz i had it laying around.). I beveled the cracks a...

    Good Joke Today

i hate them hipsters. too many where i live. i swear if i throw a ridiculous mustache right out in front of a thrift store, they'd swarm out in the hundreds for it. that being said, i get mistook for a hipster too but i swear i was like this since the day i was born.

yea I've read that. one of those leap before you look *D'oh moments. I'm not to worried about it now. I've got a spare stock one lying around. I've already decided to go ahead with and and go back to stock if I don't like the stretch. If I do like the stretch then I'll fab one.

    1975 CB360G Project

The idea for the shape came from a combination of the shape of the tail light and knee dents you often see in the gas tanks. I thought it'd be a unique twist. Here's a quick pic of what i'm thinking of trimming off the tail. Not a huge difference but it will help center the tail light in the...

    1975 CB360G Project

yea I know I've been on that fine line of too tall. Granted in this pic the gas tank is not mounted with the rubber grommets so the tank height will change and also imagine an upholstered seat pan there too and the hump shouldn't *fingers crossed* look too bad. I am pretty sure that I'm going to...

I mocked up what I had of the bike just cuz I'm an impatient person. Couldn't wait. I threw some cardboard behind just to make things a lil easier to see

    1975 CB360G Project

This past weekend I got around to the rear inner fender. I ended up cutting a piece of 10ga perforated stainless steel from a cardboard template. I forgot about the swing *hand on face*. Not a big deal; 1 cut, some trimming on the sides, 6 tabs welded in place and 2 bends. Turned out better than...

Here's a pic with the foam hollowed out and the tail light kinda installed. I still have to straighten the tail light but it's close enough that it's not a high priority to me right now.

So after discussing fiber glassing with my buddy who makes surfboards, I just went ahead with the fiberglass. It cam out ok. There are some places that I need to add some shape and some areas that I need to take some away. Here's a pic with the foam still inside the hump.

You can also see a pair of Woodruff 3 piece clip-ons up front in the pic ^^^. another pic of the seat front the front. I ended up whittling away at the foam for quite a while until i was left with this. I came pretty close to having to redo the hole thing tho.

    1975 CB360G Project

I ended up running out to Michael's and buying the flower arrangement foam that they had there and stuck it to the seat pan with silicone. I decided to use the shape of the tail light to dictate the rear of the seat pan. So i ended up with a shape like this.

    1975 CB360G Project

I just cut up some cardboard and tape to get the shape of the shadow. So the bike ends up in my room. I laid down several layers of the painter's plastic cuz I don't wanna get any grease or oil on the carpets. I've got the front end from an '95 ex500 on there now (not shown in pic).
