I am about to rebuild the engine on my 1974 Kawasaki G3SS. The previous owner managed to seize the piston in the bore. Luckily the bottom end is fine I just need a new piston and ring set. I know that Kawi changed the piston height around 1975 by 7mm, Can any one point me to a reliable source...
I have a 1979 CX500 I am going to cafe the bike but I need to get rid of the Mags, call it a personal thing. The front is no problem, but what to do about the back. Is there some way to graft a guzzi or BMW drive onto my CX500?
