    Battery eliminator/minimaliser...

Well that answers that question! Now I wonder if I can get a 500T alternator on my 550.....

CB750 and CB550 Swingarm measurements please?

Just guessing, but strength-wise I would say they're about the same, give the edge to the 750. The biggest difference is that the 550 swing arm is tubular, while the 750 looks a lot like the photo you posted, a square welded jobbie. Personally I think the 550 swingarm looks better, but thats...

    Battery eliminator/minimaliser...

Does the 500T have a similar charging system as the CB550/750? I ask because the "Bat-Pac" won't work on a 550/750. This is from an electrical FAQ on the SOHC4 forum (which you can ignore if the answer to the first question is "no")

    CB750 Cafe w/ Suzuki 4LS Brake?

I believe that the GT750's have 36 spoke wheels? The 750 has 40, so you'll need a 36 spoke rim if you don't have one already.

CB750 and CB550 Swingarm measurements please?

Ok, so let me say first that my swingarm is in my CB550 so you may have to give me ~1/4" for measuring around stuff, but here's what I got A: 9 1/4" B: 21" (18" pivot bolt center to axle center) C: 10 1/4" For a 750 "A" is the same as a 550 and "B" is an inch shorter (weird, but it is, I was...

    77 CB550F front end swaps?

Relative- Check out http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php and do a search on front end swaps. There's a few people on the SOHC4 forums that have done it. I've seen CBR and GL1000 swaps done for CB750's, and the parts would be almost identical to do the same on a 550, with only a little machine...

CB550 article "The Mantlepiece" (Cycle 11/75)

They are lester mags, and of the same design as the Kawi's, although I think the ones on that bike are specific to it or a 550. It wouldn't be too hard though to put a set of Kawi Lesters on a 550.

CB550 article "The Mantlepiece" (Cycle 11/75)

This is an article on a custom built CB550 that ran in Cycle magazine in 11/75. I posted both this and its sister article "The Gentleman's Express" over at the SOHC4 forums awhile back (http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php?topic=20392.0 and http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php?topic=20601.0)...

    77 550F work in progress...

The wheels do look like Henry Abe's, but there were a few companies back in the day that made similar rims. I'm not sure I would run that airfilter set up for very long either, looks like a sure-fire way to unbalance the carbs.

    CB750 Wheels

I wouldn't bother. They're not Akronts, they're actually DID rims, so not worth as much, and can be had on ebay for not all that much. I bought both of the Hondamatic DID rims (and hubs) that I plan on using for my CB550 for less than 200 bucks combined. Also, the DID rims are anodized clear...
