Does the 500T have a similar charging system as the CB550/750? I ask because the "Bat-Pac" won't work on a 550/750. This is from an electrical FAQ on the SOHC4 forum (which you can ignore if the answer to the first question is "no")

I believe that the GT750's have 36 spoke wheels? The 750 has 40, so you'll need a 36 spoke rim if you don't have one already.

Relative- Check out http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php and do a search on front end swaps. There's a few people on the SOHC4 forums that have done it. I've seen CBR and GL1000 swaps done for CB750's, and the parts would be almost identical to do the same on a 550, with only a little machine...

They are lester mags, and of the same design as the Kawi's, although I think the ones on that bike are specific to it or a 550. It wouldn't be too hard though to put a set of Kawi Lesters on a 550.

The wheels do look like Henry Abe's, but there were a few companies back in the day that made similar rims. I'm not sure I would run that airfilter set up for very long either, looks like a sure-fire way to unbalance the carbs.

I wouldn't bother. They're not Akronts, they're actually DID rims, so not worth as much, and can be had on ebay for not all that much. I bought both of the Hondamatic DID rims (and hubs) that I plan on using for my CB550 for less than 200 bucks combined. Also, the DID rims are anodized clear...
