Thanks Chris. I've gotten a little side tracked with work and daughters in honor society and running club, but the "bomber" is still very alive and well! I should have some updates here pretty soon. Ordered some parts, having the swing arm split and spread, so everything else "should" just be a...
So while the swingarm is being done, I've been getting tidbits in the mail here and there.
V-rod headlight bracket. Keeping with the old bike-new tech theme.
Thanks, sir. I've given the more modern swingarms some consideration, but I don't like the "buttress" that the mono shocks mount to and then there's the added length. I'm trying to keep the wheelbase as close to original length as I can. My friend who's helping me with the swing arm is quite...
@MJ, I thought about that for about 2 shakes, I just didn't want to have the additional length on the wheelbase.
@Cam, thanks sir...it's my wife's first time EVER in Vegas, so it should be a blast.

I'm good on the rear sprocket clearance...by far. I'm following your lead and getting the cyclex offset front.
The swingarm had some "ledges" on the inner part that I cut off and then hit with the flapping wheel. In looking at original kawis with this swingarm, it looks like it was to make the...
Well...I have the clearance, Clarence. Pretty stoked about this. Big thanks to Bradj for his advice on this. Otherwise, I would have been trying my best copy of "Rusty Olive"'s rear swingarm (which is beautiful, BTW...I just don't have the skills that Cam has with a welder!
I know the tire is...
'77 CB550 Winter Project.
The Repsol wheels didn't fit, so I have a replacement set for the official build. I haven't decided on the final wheel color. Currently the rear is black and the front is red. Not really certain which way I should take this...the 360 tank changes quite a bit. May do...
