This scooter belongs to a friend in Toronto, but I currently have it stored in my garage in Woodstock
Needs some work to get it running and street-worthy, but it's in pretty good shape and I was riding it around the neighbourhood this summer. Comes with 2 new tires (not on the bike).

Re: Bad back
Back problems run in my family and I've been dealing with back pain from untreated sports injuries since I was about 15. Played hockey for 23 years and I never told anyone when I was hurt because I wouldn't have been allowed to play. Luckily I have no disc or nerve problems...
I'd suggest putting a bit of money aside for a bit and buying something that you're not gonna want to upgrade from in a couple months. I bought a cheap stick welder and ended up wanting a mig/flux machine right away. I have a Hobart Handler 140 now. It's gas/flux capable and still a 120V...

The motor's gone as of saturday. I had two guys show up saturday and they cleaned me out. I donated the XS500 motor and the remainder of the parts to a shop teacher from Cambridge. They have a XS500 project with a siezed motor.
I have a pair of Woodcraft clip-ons for sale. Look up "35mm woodcraft" on ebay. I'll let them go for $100 shipped. They're good if you're worried about tank clearance.

I have a shit ton of little washers, bolts, seals, and crap that are all new in the package. Let me know if you need anything specific and I'll see if I have it. I have a lot more stuff than what I listed.
Re: XS650/500. Parting out project. New stuff!

Fork Gaitors are new. The tapered end fits perfectly into the groove on XS fork lowers where the original dust caps sit. The tops are loose but I'm sure you can...
