that is the price..... if a set of good expansion chambers is $800 and a set of cylinders fresh 1st or 2nd bore and pistons falls between $600 and $900 and papered frame is $300 to $150.......you get the idea. The market is not arbitrary. these are real numbers attached to real products...

prototype bike, built ,sold, kid cooked it, bought back, rebuilt and for sale again. this is a fast fun bike these photos are before rebuild. now has new pipes, pistons, fenders, cleaned up ready for income tax season
sure, tank seat combo.... what you expecting to pay for tank and tail?... its not cheap. Benelli tank runs about $400 without cap and petcocks if you can find one at all. I like to build tail on original seat pans so they can be functional and to keep the scale of bike intact.

I love this stuff for the street, others will say its soft but with the reduced weight and emulators up front and adjustable in the back, this thing is a blast around town. Super quick and keeps the wheels on the pavement when rough, just enough brake and affordable as it gets......go with the smoke
