This is absolutely 100% false. An Ironhead is a Sportster. A Shovelhead is a big twin. While the rocker boxes on the early IH's may look like shovels, they aint the same thing.

Hey guys, a friend and I are working on an '85 RZ350 project. When we purchased it it was somewhat of a frankenbike, which has made part sourcing difficult. It has been fitted with dual Mikuni flat slide carbs, and I'm not sure what the throttle control is from- I don't believe it is stock...

I really dig your choice of tank for this bike. If you are liking it, don't let the naysayers talk you out of it. As far as the badge is concerned, why not just ditch the Yamaha logo entirely?
