    Stuck/Seized clutch on a 73 SL350?

Thanks for the response. I did not soak them and don't remember seeing that step mentioned in the honda service manual for the bike. I have not actually ridden the bike yet as this was a total resto / mod project starting with a bike that probably had not run in many years. I am still trying...

    Stuck/Seized clutch on a 73 SL350?

HI, I am hoping someone will pick up on this question after reading through this thread and a couple of other ones. I recently finished rebuilding my 1971 CL 350 engine and had installed new friction disks for the clutch. I have been having trouble now getting the clutch adjusted correctly. I...

OK, figured out how to mount the forks. I filled them completely with fork oil to keep them fully extended while pushing them up in place through the outer springs/boots and headlight ear supports. More mockup and assembly done. Starting to look like a racer! How about this question...

    Project record and planning notebooks

Hi Maxray, Here is a pic of the cover and one of the title page of the notebook. Basically each page has the categories listed in the title page laid out with spaces to make entries in regarding each item listed. I hope I have losted all the things one might want to keep track of. And yes...

    Project record and planning notebooks

Hi Fellow Cafe Builders, So as I have been working on my cafe resto / mod CL350 I found myself making lists of parts needed or TO DO lists and such over and over again. It came to me that maybe having an organized notebook to keep track of things would be helpful. I then decided that others...

A fool and his first CL 350 cafe build

Myabe I am daft (more than maybe I am sure I am). But, having the outer upper fork springs, gators, and headlight ears over the upper tubes of these front forks is giving me a problem to get them pushed up into the tripple tree? I can't get a hold of the inner shaft to push it up into the...

Thanks, I wanted to cover the rubber mount that holds the tank down. I think I am going to redo the seat cushion though. It seems too thick (padding) and sits up in a funny looking way.

Re: Salzburg '73 CB350 - Update: fuel hose & shift linkage - final touches Hi Matt, two questions? First Ilike the brake switch and how you mounted it. Could you tell me more about it (custom mount? Where you obtained the switch?). And I have been curious about velocity stacks and how...
