Re: 1976 Honda cb750k brat project-First Time builder
Wow, time flies. Well the ol cb750 is getting work done slowly. Things that are completed are as follows:
Frame painted
Engine painted and put back in frame
New All ballz steering bearings installed
rims cleaned/painted/laced
triple trees...
Slow slow and slow. That's how this build is. I will have my new ballistic battery on Friday so that's a plus. Question for y'all. Pod air filters thoughts? I am planning on runnin the Mac drag pipes as the bike has turned to more of a brat build rather than cafe. Just how tough is it to get the...
Started lacing the rims. Did the back one last night. Not as hard as I thought it would be.
Hitting up my welder friend on Friday to get the electronics tray and bottom seat pan welded on...slowly but surely.
slow but steady...The engine is 95% put back together...with me dragging along the rebuild process I have misplaced the oil pan bolts, So I will be reordering those...Then to get a couple welds done then paint the frame and in goes the engine. My June 1st deadline is probably going to be...

I got the bars at DCC, http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-motorcycle-handlebar-parts-chrome-clubman-handlebars-23-12538.html.
I ran a string and nut through the bars and it doesn't seem...
Put a finish date on the bike. Decided 2 June 2013 would be a great day to have this bad larry finished. Why, same day as Rocker and Mods in Chi town. Not sure if I will go, but it would be nice to just get it done! Been busy degreasing 30+ years of grease and shit of the engine...that is a...
