    You can use some wd40, scotchbite green pad, sand paper and some elbow grease, it should come out preatty good!

    I had a similar issue, i just drop the disk at the machine shop so they can remove about 1.4mm from where it mounts on the wheel so it does not touch the caliper

    If you just want to go for looks, get the outer spring cut one or to coils and put them with something like a gaiter on the bottom or something so it does look "functional"

    Got it! Is there any process guide or info on how to align a wheel that is not oem? Like i align the sprocket first or the disk brake or how would the process go? Thanks!

    i think i got a 77 SR500 Mag rear wheel, its 18X1.85, it came with a 38 sprocket when i took a closer look the sr500 rear disk, the disck touchs the caliper, the actual metal of the inside of the caliper rubs against the front of the disk itself. When i removed the disk the wheel spun freely...

    I will be using a battery tender lithium battery 12v 10-14amps, the battery sady that the max charge rate is 10a, butmy xs500 charge rate is like 12-15a i think, so would i need another voltage refulator for just charging the battery? Or is it ok to use it like that?

I think i got everything for the coversion, im using a xs400 rear wheel since i couldnt find a xs500 one, the rim is the same width at the front but if i use the propper tire i should be good, in going for the brat/tracker thing, the diameter of the bearings and everything lines up...
