Yes, I removed the emulsion tubes, checked the rubber diaphragms, etc. jets are clean. Timing is spot on. Statically timed it with my homemade buzzer box and confirmed with a timing light. Carbs butterfly's are synced but I'm having trouble synching idle.

Just probing for answers for those of you who have had to replace mufflers on a cb160. the header OD is very small, 1-1/4". I can't find anything that small in universal mufflers. any suggestions?

They are a little long but overall it didn't turn out too bad. It runs! Bought this bike with a crap engine for $250 and a spare for $200. Have about $500 into the bike so far and plan to sell some spares for about half of that. Hope to have about $200 into the bike when all is said and done.
