Recommend a Shop to Wire my bike

if you were local, this wouldn't be a problem. i have so much time in this bike that it's riding time and I'm just looking to drop off and to ride it back home.

Recommend a Shop to Wire my bike

So I have a 77 kz650 that needs to be wired. This is a bare bones bike that only needs the headlight, tail light, coil, switch, reg/rec, battery wired. No turn signals, no horn, kick start only. I had it wired previously at a dealer, but decided to rebuild the bike and in the process moved back...

KZ650 - how low will she go

i never made a build thread. i wasn't planning on going as far as i have. i had electrical issues that sidelined me for the riding season so i threw in the towel and went all out. so now it's a never ending project but i'm 95% there. i just keep finding new things to do to keep me busy over the...

KZ650 - how low will she go

hey sbruton, i was actually digging through your build, but couldn't find the size shocks you used...thanks for that info. i assume you're running a stock size tire? being that i'm running a 4.5 x 18 rear tire and a little less clearance than you on the frame i may be pushing close to the limit.

KZ650 - how low will she go

i welded in another bracket from shock to shock mount going across the seat which is the lowest part of the rear end now. my tail light will be on another bracket not being a factor. since the hoop is angled up, it's not the lowest part. an additional 2" would be monster truck off roading style...

KZ650 - how low will she go

i'm guessing i can bottom out the suspension as it is now ratcheting it down. but that wouldn't tell me what ideal conditions would do. if only i could find out what the suspension travel is of these springs or any springs under normal riding conditions that would be perfect. i'm surprised...

KZ650 - how low will she go

So I'm looking to go as low ass possible without running into rubbing issues on my 77 kz650. The bike has 13" eye to eye shocks stock. I have 2 5/8" clearance between the top of my tire (4.5x18) and the hoop. i'm not sure how much the rear suspension travels under load. this would be the million...

CO: Need a basic wiring harness done

So I'm just finishing up the bike and I'm a little over my head with the electrical. Bikes a 77 kz650. Kickstart only, headlight, taillight, rectifier/regulator combo and that's it. No turn signals, no kill switch, no hi-low, none of it...only the essentials. I need someone to wire my bike up...

kz750 twin....bratstyle/cafe bastard (strap on sally) phase 1 complete

Re: z750 twin....brat.... "painting.....assembling" not bad...are you set on keeping the clip ons above the triple? it looks so awkward...i think it defeats the purpose of clip-ons.

1975 Honda xl350 brat? tracker? project so far

i'm really lovin' this thing...very clean and simple. i guess i'll be the first to vote against brown. the black/chrome, red combo is perfect. introducing another color into the field would be confusing. i like the black fork. it almost disappears against the tire/wheel. i would spray the...

1975 Honda xl350 brat? tracker? project so far

i'd go black forks...i think it'll give it a meaner stance as the forks will kind of disappear with the wheels. brat style would suggest black too.
