    OK let me make it a little easier for you. THAT is MY carbie (there's 2 of them from my Guzzi Cafe) and it;'s NOT painted, it;s Black Ceramic coated. Painting is pretty much a no no as it's not just fuel but also petrol FUMES that will screw up your paint job.

    Send them to a polisher. Unless you have a 1.5+HP 8" pollisher at home it will be a nightmare

    I would think that denting and shaping the front would be a little harder than the rear. Front dents tend to be smaller in diametre deeper

    lowering the front end (ie pushing the forks up) will muck up the steering geometry, it's not a smart move for a wise man

    Thanks Ian, that breach is on a Temp wire to a nearly dead battery that is hooked up purely to test the circuits. the dead battery allows you to check things are working but it does not allow enough current to fry thing if I screw it up. I learned this the hard way :-[ ::)
