ah yes the good old days before the enviro stuff kicked in. Hell maybe Canada doesn't have the same tough taxes for chromers. Mexico still makes for good cheap chrome. I wish I lived closer.
No idea, just told my painter how I wnated it and he pulled it off for me. I do know he uses PPG and all you should really have to do is ask for the flattener and decide how much you want to use. I suggest doing some panels to see what sheen you like best.
The seat / cowling is something I have come up with. Made the pan and cover and mated to an existing plastic part. I'm putting another one on my H1 right now. I like the look a lot too. I have been toying with making some for sale. What do you think would be a fair price? would you be...
OK just the basics. hope this helps.

I made the seat myself from the old 750F rear cowl. Lots of metal pounding to make a custom pan and then a lot of magic to get it mounted to the plastic cowl without drilling into the cowl. I used brakets and fiberglass.
Thanks I agree. The Flat black mellows the bling and it somehow works. I can't really take the credit. sole the idea from every old hot rod car that has done it before me. I just never seen anyone do it on a bike to this extent. Here is my anti chrome bike. Called the low Doh, Made it for $2300...
