I cant believe its been a year, PLUS! I have had a wonderful year, part of which was spent building and then riding my Moto Guzzi. I spent part of last winter building This G5 into my dream of a cafe.
I have DCC to thank for great parts service, their rear sets are just fantastic, and all...
You know, darockvo, I dont remember cking that out. This sunday Im going to start and warm up all the rides,I can dream cant I? I'll ck it then. Hope your warm it's been below 0 here for two weeks....
Hey all, I picked up a Mojave gas tank, and I'm looking for a gas cap. I thought I had one found on ebay, but no joy I'm hoping some body here might have a line on one. Thanks all
Hey Viet, I talked to you about some sets for my CB500 last winter, I havent done anything about that yet, but I just got a Guzzi that has floorboards, and they gotta go. Have you ever done Guzzi?
There are not that many doing Guzzi builds, anything "different" is good in my book. As a Tracker it looks great, yet there are a mix/mash of designs with it, dirt body work, street pipes and signals. To me it needs "high" pipes and the signals need to be tight and close.
Tell me, what tank is...
So after building several Cafe's for my family, 3 CB's and a Virago, I got a wild hair, and have jumped into a Moto Guzzi.
After shopping ebay and Craigslist, I settled on a 1981 V1000 G5 and I am learning as I go. The Guzzi is SO different from any bike I've ever owned, and Im finding I enjoy...
I know its been a while, but I finally got back to the 360 tonight. Took the diaphragms out and thoroughly inspected them for holes or tears, nothing. Cked all the air bleed passages for...well anything...nothing. So I decided to do a test and see if switching sides with the diaphragms would...
Ok guys... After 80+/- miles since the last time I worked on the bike, here are pics of the plugs they are d8es.
Cked the compression this AM after the ride to work, both clydrs are 130#...perfect.
The bike is definitely running better...
@Sonreir... I'll reck the compression. when I cked it I was more concerned that it was even side to side, as my problem is only on #2 cyl.
@Jewbacca...Well Jewy (have mercy, I couldnt resist) I would expect it to be lean as well, as I have rejetted my other builds. Thats why I was surprised to...
Hi all, I picked up this 360 about 6 months ago, it had been sitting, garaged for about 20 yrs, and it has about 7500 miles on it. The owner had put "stable" in the gas, so though the gas was bad, the tank cleaned out easily and the carbs were, generally, ok.
I rode the bike for about 2 weeks...
I would be doing the 500 1st. And as you see in the pic, the passenger mount seems too far back, perhaps something in the middle.
The 400,(see pic) has no pass. mount, so I'm thinking something like the 360 mounts I've seen. Thanks ;)
Hi Viet, I've been reading through the posts, and I'm impressed with the versatility I see in the product. I have 2 bikes a CB400F and a CB500 Four and of course am looking for a good clean setup for them, do you think yours would be a good fit?
Didnt quite know where to post this,but...
I've been riding my CB500 for the last week or so without a plate. So I had to get legal, and crap, no place to put it. So I had this, I dont know what it came from, taillight mount. Turned out pretty nice.
