Steve - Yeah right on! I was at motociclo at St. Peters the other day, they specialise in bikes like Moto Guzi, Royal Enfield, Triumph... Their aftermarket parts were expensive, about 10-20% more than prices on ebay...
Ditto. I've been looking around for stuff in Sydney to customise my SR250. Just the basics like tanks, seats...

I've been shopping around a bit (8 hours a day) for a tank. SR250's aren't that popular... However there's plenty of SR400/500 parts about. Do you know where I can learn how to put a SR400 tank on to the 250 properly?
Awesome stuff, I can't wait for it to be complete. I was thinking the same thing. Not that the styling of the vintage aren't easy on the eye or anything, it's just that they aren't as bright on the road compared to new Japanese bikes with large panels of LED lights. So if not making the bike...
