Wow VonYinzer! How good is this! Just ask away and in a few days someone's come up with the goods. PM me with the details on cost and where to send the cash and I'll get back to you. Many thanks mate. Hecklejk, thanks again for your offer. I'll stick with VonYinzer because I know that what he...

    '71 CB350 L/H handlebar switch/lever block lower half.

Hi Hecklejk, Thanks for your offer. I have no idea what a '74 CB200 looks like so before you go to the trouble of the shipping quote could you take a picture of it and post it up? Many thanks, Rob.

Looks like mine is shot. Bike must have tipped over at some stage and busted it. A chunk is missing. I'm in Melbourne, Australia so consider that if you have one to sell and you're trying to work out a price. Cheers.

    CB350 foot peg crossbeam

It also helps when you all park up against the kerb. Then everyone's bike leans the same way.

    CB350 foot peg crossbeam

Are you referring to the 175 or the 350? The 350 is nothing like you're describing. It has a beam/brace/tube (call it what you will) bolted from one frame bottom tube to the other. It also has the footpegs and side stand mounted to it.

    CB350 - See what happens.

Only from a heart point of view. From a head point of view it's only half the work. ;D

    CB350 foot peg crossbeam

Hi all, Finally getting the project underway and I've removed the original footpeg crossbeam that goes under the motor. Do I need to replace it with anything or is the frame strong enough to live without it? I won't be racing this bike but I am 6 feet tall and weigh nearly 190lbs (height...

    CB350 - See what happens.

Yes, the heart was torn for a while but the cafe style is what I've always liked so that it shall be. Having said that I'll try not to do too much irreversible stuff to the frame. Unfortunately the look does require some commitment though.

    CB350 - See what happens.

OK, I think I've got it sorted. Try this: The theory is that it'll get clip-ons, exhaust, rear sets, cafe style seat, lower the headlight and instruments, etc. Bought it from a young guy at work and it came roadworthy and with all the appropriate paperwork so no more authorities to convince...

    CB350 - See what happens.

Hi all, Rob from Melbourne Oz. I've been lurking for a while and now the project has finally started. Lets see if I can get a picture to load. http://www.flickr.com/photos/27286315@N03/4205175865/ Hmm, so that's the link. How do I turn it into a photo? Don't get too excited. It's not a...

    CB350 fork oil

Thanks Liam. I'd guessed at about 15 so I'll give it a go and see what happens. I'm currently waiting on fork seals. I made the mistake of going to a reputable large bike shop with several branches around Melbourne who had them when I called but didn't have them when I went there, then got...

    CB350 fork oil

G'day Steve, No, no build thread yet. Having studied a lot of these sites and forums I've seen a lot of build threads that just seem to peeter out with no result. I'm tempted to just leave it all until it's finished then dump it all on a thread in one go. Guess that sort of defeats the...

    CB350 fork oil

Thanks. The manual says 200ml of 10-30 motor oil is standard. I'd prefer to use fork oil coz I guess it's made for forks (yeah, I know it sounds dumb) but I know that different weights of oil mean different rates of damping and that can also be affected by my weight. Just trying to get some...

    CB350 fork oil

Hi all, Project cb350 is underway. I've pulled the forks to bits and am wondering what weight fork oil to put back in. The original oil was woefully under damping and was in pretty ordinary condition. I weigh approx 85-90kg with all my gear on. Any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers, Rob.

    Aluminium fuel tanks in Oz.

Cool! I've always liked the look of polished tanks. Hope it goes well. Love to see pics when it's done.

    Aluminium fuel tanks in Oz.

I hear what you're saying. I'm not prepared to pay that much. Have you looked into modifying what you've got? I'm interested in what people are ending up with.

    Aluminium fuel tanks in Oz.

Hi all, Finally became the proud owner of a 71 CB350 a couple of months ago and I'm looking for any suggestions on what tank I could put on it. I'd like to go aluminium but really anything not fibreglass would do. I don't really like the shape of the original tank. I'd like something a bit...
