Got'em today.......I don't know, two calendar days from Viet Nam to the interior of British Columbia....I must have entered a time warp........good service, Viet, they look good, I suspect there will be very little fiddling to get them mounted and working well. Thanks.

Universal - Adjustable Rearset - more pictures and discount option

Hello, Viet, Looks like you're creating quite the industry with rearsets, tanks, seats, etc.....good on yah. I see from the photos in the forum that you can fit a '78 xs400, using a bracket. The one photo shows the brake side, good fit. I cannot find a photo for fitting the bracket on the...

    XS 400

My nephew, a budding photographer, used my bike as a subject to get the technicals sorted out for photographing bikes, and things like that. Here's one example....

    Near misses and courtseys...?

The last three times I've been squeezed over from the other lane, I've followed the women until they've stopped somewhere (always public), and asked that they be more observent, especially with kids in the van......that's right, women driving vans full of kids......who'da thunk.... :o

    Hypothetical sneaky legal question (ownership/registration)

I got stopped by the local RCMP last year on my Suzuki with a collector plate...they ran the plate through the computer, and noted that the plate was registered to a red-coloured bike...they wanted to verify that the colour was right. They told me that people run several bikes on one collector...

Project Chubby Betty - Custom Caféracer

This is definately something special...I always wondered what a cafe'd '81 Virago would lean toward..this is it...mucho cool....I know that the fatty rear tire goes with the "chopperesque" look, but , man, gyroscopic effect....lot to fight to change direction ;D

    cb200 remix

Aawww, crap....all these creative mods are going to cost me more money/time on my XS400 project...improvements I didn't even know I "needed". Love the thread, excellent photos, truly astronomical attention to detail...I gotta get a better welder and new skills....

Fresh meat! Soon to be Cafe'd!

That bike is basically the same as a GS 400 and GS 450 (except for the GS400E, which had the 4-valve head)....lots of parts are interchangable. Check out http://www.thegsresources.com/ for model info and more mechanical help. Rearsets from the GS400E would likely fit right on....
