I picked up a set of used fork lowers for my rd400 that were in pretty bad shape. Cleaned them up nice, but the inside slider has quite a few scratches. As long as the fork tubes are good should this cause any problems?
Crashed a dirtbike on the street and messed up my knee, so I had a few months to overhaul the RD. Found a really nice 78 tank with no rust and Chuck from Florida did some amazing machining for me. Still waiting on a spacer to mount up a modern front brake, but for the most part it's done now...
My dirt lot actually looked nice after the last rain so I snapped a few glamour shots of my rd400. Had the mufflers on my moto carrera pipes kicked up since I was last on here. Still needs to be painted, but it's getting close to done (if that's possible).

I'm trying to set the timing on my RD and I need a dial gauge in the OC. My bike is looking sad all built up without being able to run and my friends with trucks keep flaking. If anyone could come out to Irvine or loan me their gauge I would be happy to pay for your time and be forever grateful.

Just finishing up the second rebuild of my RD400. First time around I had an airleak in the motor and it ran away. This time around I fiber glassed a new seat and cleaned up all the loose ends while the...
Just rebuilt my rd400 with a new motor that was rebuilt from the PO. I'm getting ready to start the motor for the first time, but I can't get the clutch to work. I set the clutch from the push rod adjuster according to the manual, but when the bike was in gear and I engaged the clutch it...
I really need to get my rd400 points set and timed tonight or tomorrow morning. If anyone can come up to tustin with a dial indicator and time my bike I will pay you a 100 bucks.
So Born Free is next weekend down here in So Cal, and I'm working like a mad man so I don't have to roll up in my cage.
My name is Ian and I picked up my first 2 stroker back in december. Love the bike, but it's been a basket-case since day 1, mostly due to bad DIY work from past owners...
I've been hunting for an RD for a minute now and I finally scored my first two stroke. Was going to leave it as is while I finish my cb350 build, but 1 rainy week and now it's a never ending cafe project. Here's some crappy iPhone pics.

I don't post on here to often, but I feel this is some info you all need. Chris at http://motogpwerks.com/index.html has bent over backwards to help me on my cb350 project, his prices are better than most the online vendors and I'm always blown away with the quality of work. Don't let his...
