    Scratches in Fork Lowers

I picked up a set of used fork lowers for my rd400 that were in pretty bad shape. Cleaned them up nice, but the inside slider has quite a few scratches. As long as the fork tubes are good should this cause any problems?

    New look for the RD400

Crashed a dirtbike on the street and messed up my knee, so I had a few months to overhaul the RD. Found a really nice 78 tank with no rust and Chuck from Florida did some amazing machining for me. Still waiting on a spacer to mount up a modern front brake, but for the most part it's done now...

Two Stroke Dial Indicator in SoCal

I'm trying to set the timing on my RD and I need a dial gauge in the OC. My bike is looking sad all built up without being able to run and my friends with trucks keep flaking. If anyone could come out to Irvine or loan me their gauge I would be happy to pay for your time and be forever grateful.

    RD400 Two Week Rebuild

So Born Free is next weekend down here in So Cal, and I'm working like a mad man so I don't have to roll up in my cage. My name is Ian and I picked up my first 2 stroker back in december. Love the bike, but it's been a basket-case since day 1, mostly due to bad DIY work from past owners...
