Ok here's where I'm at, I'm new to rebuilding motorcycles and this thing won't start. Here's what I've done. It started once, ran for about 30-40 seconds, I let the throttle off and it died, hasn't started since. Seems like a timing issue, but I don't know.

Thanks for the nice welcome and great comments guys. A street-tracker it is! Gonna get the frame cleaned up and power coated soon. I'm sure I'll have more questions once I get the ball rolling, I'm stoked on this project! :D
Here's a pic of it broke down. I'll post a before pic, if this works. I'm thinking, now that I've done some research that a cafe-tracker would really be sick. Thanks for all the pos feedback. I'm gonna build this my own way, but still keep many parts o.g., I am kind of a purist at heart too.
