    74 CB360G Build Thread

Re: 74 CB360 Build Thread (stolen license plate story) Been gone for four bloody weeks. Had a nightmare working with some "professional" mechanics. Five-ish weeks ago, I finally got to the point on the carbs where I just wanted them done. I was missing valuable riding time. So I took it to...

CB350 Built by a teen (Weld Now, Grind Later)

as a noob (hopefully not for long) I support that idea. I bought a bike that was supposed to be a runner. I'm not saying it wasn't, but I did spend the last two months just making it run *right*. Carbs man.

    74 CB360G Build Thread

Now the problems: As you can see in the photos above, we didn't put on the new tire before bothering with the exhaust. Just have to back track. No big deal. Next: We did some re mounting of the turn signals so the controls would fit. Now the turn signals are what's bolting the headlight...

    74 CB360G Build Thread

That's an interesting idea. I have some shims that came with the new exhaust. all three of them are too thick for the headers. Two don't get close enough to clamp down. My current plan is to sand all of them down some and bevel the edge of the smallest one as best as I can. I'm thinking...

    74 CB360G Build Thread

Yeah, I saw that on your thread. That's not really an option for me at the moment. My dad's welder is pretty much crap and I've never welded a ting in my life, and I'm not planning on wrapping the headers. Yeah, my last pipes were waaay too damn loud though. My dad was embarrassed to ride...

    74 CB360G Build Thread

New toys! My mufflers came in! Dry fit on one side. I'm havin trouble mounting to the headers. It's late. I might be able to take care of it tomorrow, but it being a school day that may be tough too. Maybe I'll call in sick to work on wednesday...

'74 CB360 cafe project - (New clutch springs and back to analog gauges.)

Re: '74 CB360 cafe project - (Battery tray in progress) Don't get me wrong, I'll do what I can to keep my bike light and sporty (within my budget at least), but hiding the battery beneath the bump and cleaning out the air box/battery/tool kit area and leaving that space wide open looks so damn...

    74 CB360G Build Thread

Been awhile! Between work and college I've not got a lot of time for this build so this'll be kinda slow. Let's see if I still know how to do this. Bout a week ago I rebuilt the carbs. I've still got to put my exhaust back on and rewire all the controls, so hopefully I can get it running in...

    74 CB360G Build Thread

`So my old man convinced me to just start a real build thread. This is gonna be it. To commemorate the event I'm gonna stick pics up of all the stuff I've been to lazy to put up. The Bike Before Chopped stock turn signals Polished case New tires! New clubmans, I got them on and...

    My first street bike!!!

So there's four days of polishing. I've seen better jobs but but this one's mine and it's a hell of a lot better than the worn out paint that was there before. When I bring it down to bare frame I'll do better on the underside when I can reach it all better. Been working on the other side for...

'74 CB360 cafe project - (New clutch springs and back to analog gauges.)

Re: '74 CB360 cafe project - Working on the frame now. So I'm kinda a newbie to bike modification, so forgive me if this is kinda a stupid question, but all the welding and grinding on the frame, do you worry about the heat taking strength away from the frame? Is there some way I'm unaware of...

    Turn signals won't flash-CB360

I'm sure that they are drawing enough current, the bulbs are fine. What does the flasher look like and where is it?

    Turn signals won't flash-CB360

My son just bought a 1974 CB360 that we are trying to sort out. The turn signals turn on, but won't flash. The front bulbs are 1157 run/turn. Rears are 1156. All bulbs are good. I have a Clymer manual that is no help at all. The wiring diagram doesn't list a flasher, only a turn signal...
