    cb350 twin help needed

    i did the timing when the bike ran. the cam is on properly because the engine's never been tampered with. the 95 psi was done cold thus the low number. i did a leak down test and the right intake valve was leaking (air sound from the carb) so i think that's the problem. any thoughts

    the bike ran perfectly for a year until a couple of weeks ago. i did the timing gun when it ran and it was pretty spot on. gonna pick up that leak down tester. compression test was 95 psi cold on both side.

    before i replace my stock cb350 coil, i wanna run a test. what is the best way to test it with an ohmeter? also, i remember someone wrote that the black 5ohm dyna coils would be a better replacement than the 3ohm green one. is that true? JP

    Leaky petcock

    here's a quick fix. there's a wavy/spring washer that hold the lever down to the rubber gasket on the face of the petcock. take some pliers and bend them so that they'll have more spring action to it so that it can put more pressure to the face of the gasket and the flat surface of the lever...

    my left float bowl leaked gas after rides at the overflow vent valve (73' cb350G twin) so i swapped the left with the right to test out the bowl. now the leak is at the right. so i'd like to replace it with a good float bowl that won't leak. someone pm me if you have a good non-leaking carb...
