Got my new tires put on and had to order a new oem petcock because the original one was too old..what a difference when riding. Need to get insurance back on as the weather is getting better.

Sorry to hear about the over heating issues. Do you have a thermostat for your bike? I think you do. Maybe that is the problem? I heard of guys taking the electric fan off the gl650 like mine has and use it on the cx500, with a simple switch. ebay if you are aware has bunch of items for the cx...

Yes Brian there is an arch to the back seat good eyes ;D No problems so far with the pod filters. I have taken the bike up a 35 mph zone and have gone thru all the gears but not redline yet...Wainting for my newer tires to arrive first. Thanks for kudos on gauges...im still thinking on...

I found pictures of my bike when I first got it and were I am right now. I bought some spitfire tires for my bike from a fellow member and will update pics on that. I cant what! The original tires are like 40 yrs old lol. I think the last picture says "Get on and hold on"
