    tsubaki cam chain master link

Tried everything but no go. Ended up hauling the entire engine to a local shop to have them do it with the proper tools. I wouldn't want my motor grenading after all this work because I didn't flare that rivet right. Thanks alot for the help guys.

    tsubaki cam chain master link

I'm putting together my engine for my CL350 right now, and I've run into a bit of a speed bump. I'm installing my tsubaki cam chain with master link, but having trouble getting the rivet type master link to actually flair out and lock the link together. Ive tried using a center punch, but it...

Super Happy Fun Time cl350 - Seat Build!

Sooo big things have been happening in my garage. It's crunch time right now, I'm in a rush to finish the bike before my next school term starts... in two weeks. Once school starts, I will have absolutely no time to work on this bike, and it will be left to collect dust until my next break...

Super Happy Fun Time cl350 - Seat Build!

I'm not sure what the name of the Industrial clay I'm using on my seat is, it's a Japanese brand that Toyota uses and the labels are all in Japanese. I have used two other brands called Chavant and Faber, our school sells Faber and it works really well. Faber is what BMW uses. I'm not sure...

CB/CL175 Brothers and Sisters.... Idle speed?

Mine seems happiest at 1200-1500 rpm. I had it idling closer to 700-900 at one point and it idled fine, but moved it back up as it would die every now and then at stoplights.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Thanks Vinnie! Your comment made my day. This was exactly what I was trying to achieve with the seat cowl design. I knew bolting on an aftermarket "bullet" style seat just wouldn't look right with the rest of the bike's design, I'm glad you like it!

It was just sitting there on ebay all alone ;D So i just threw in the only bid and took it, lucky I guess! It took alot of work to get it cleaned up though, flushed it with muriatic acid, Kreemed, paint stripped 4 tons of paint (house paint applied with a roller) and I had to fill up lots of...

Super Happy Fun Time cl350 - Seat Build!

Re: Super Happy Fun Time cl350 seat build! So I've been working on my seat for the past couple days. It's coming along nicely, should be done pretty soon. I'm modeling the seat out of industrial clay, which is the same clay used in car studios to build concept cars. I'm a car design student...

CB350 piston to wall clearance for big bore kit

I just dropped off my cb350 cylinders and pistons at the machine shop today, and they asked if I had the piston to wall clearance for my piston kit. I have 3mm overbore ART pistons and rings that i bought off of ebay and they didnt come with any specs other than what was marked on the pistons...

Re: Super Happy Fun Time cl350 Got my frame painted. Really happy with how it turned out, I used duplicolor low gloss engine enamel. The photos didnt really capture it well, but everything came out really smooth. I wish I had more time to fill up some of the low spots with metal glaze, but...

Re: Super Happy Fun Time cl350 oops, haha sorry, that's not actually my bike, just a pic I pulled off google to do some photochops on. However, I believe those are Jemco pipes that all the 350 racer guys run, I see them all the time on race bikes. Maybe ask the guys over at the WERA forums...

Super Happy Fun Time cl350 - Seat Build!

Re: Super Happy Fun Time cl350 Thanks for all the kind words guys ;D I've considered doing this, but I'm not sure what I would do about the left side cover, I would have to weld in some extra metal to close off the gap it would leave, which is unfortunately beyond my current fabrication...

Re: Super Happy Fun Time cl350 Nice! Do you have a bike build going on here? I'd like to see what you've done to yours. You think I should go to a machinist who specializes in bikes/honda's to have my cylinders bored or will any machine shop that bores/hones work? I don't intend on honing...

Re: Super Happy Fun Time cl350 Pipes came with the bike since I have the street scrambler 350. I may end up doing the orange wheels down the line when I pick up aluminum rims and relace the wheels, but for now I'm sticking with black wheels.

Super Happy Fun Time cl350 - Seat Build!

Re: Super Happy Fun Time cl350 Now that I've gotten through all that boring introductory stuff, I can get into the meat of the build and show what I've been up to since then. Never was a big fan of the CL tanks, so I ordered a early model angular cb350 tank on ebay for 10 bucks. Alittle...
