This may be a silly question but does it matter which coil goes to which cylinder? And would that effect the timing?

I'll focus on the spark issue and try to check the timing. I'll hold off on the jets for now. Thanks!

First thanks for all the replies. I doubled checked for spark and the right side has strong spark. The right side has a very weak spark. And it actually doesn't even spark sometimes while cranking it over. I'm ordering new main jets on Monday so I hope once I diagnose the spark issue and new...

Everything should be set right in the carbs and it is getting fuel. I'm going to try some new plugs just to see if it helps. I need to pick up some new jets. I have a feeling those will go a long way.

I really like how your bike sounds. since you're not running a muffler what did you re jet your carbs too or did you have to?. I think im going to take this route with me exhaust set up. This bike looks amazing. i hope my xs500 turns out as good as this tx500!
