    '78 CB750 Restore

Thanks for the info. I thought the only major problem was the valve spring retainers. The products from dynoman are great and the service is amazing. Good luck on the rebuild. Are you going to use the 836cc or the 1000cc pistons?

    '78 CB750 Restore

I'd like to buy your old F2 engine, let me know how much you'd want for it. I'm curious to know exactly what you mean about the valve guide problem, since I'm rebuilding a few of them. Take care.

    Valve shims.

I purchased some new KPMI high performance valve springs, they came with 0.060" shims. The CB750 heads have a steel base cup below the springs. Do the new shims go under this base cup? Also my new cam says valve lash for intake and exhaust 0.004", seems a little tight for a hot running 836cc...

    Hello, from Hamilton.

This site is a dream come true. Excellent job fellow caferacers! I have 5 motorcycles, and the two I love the most are my 77&78 CB750F2's. Both are in the process of getting major engine work. Cosmetics will be touched up over the winter and I hope to ride with your group sometime next spring...
