I just picked up a 71 cb350 with 11,000 miles on it. The nuetral light is not lit and the bike will not start. Will this bike not start without nuetral switch working? I got the bike to stumble with some starting fluid, but the green light was on. I cant get cant get it to come back on or...
how much for the gauges, and if the carbs dont sell, how much. where are you located. if close to tampa FL i will take the motor too. how much for it. thanks
FOr the wires, I cute them both back already to make sure i have nice clean wires exposed.
I will adjust the slides so they both open exactly the same. Should i use the one on the right(good idle) as my control?
when she is firing, its black and a little wet, and the right is black too but dry. I have not switched the wires. I broke one of the intake mounting studs. anyone know where to get one?
How do i sync the slids/ adjust them. by the top of the carbs where the throttle cable goes in?

I have the mixture screw...
The slides are in correct because there is a small square notch that runnings up the whole slide. On the opposite side, there is a angled notch for the idle screw to adjust the idle speed. You are right about something getting huge up, but what. I give up tonight and will check the slide...
it doesnt matter if they are on or off. I thought the same thing about the air leak. but i have checked all the possible places.
I can see in there and the slides move in tandom and come right back down.
Just checked both of them and they are both good. all parts are tight and snug. I also checked the cables, and they are clean and clear. they snap back real quick. I also checked the very top of the carb (where the cable goes into the carb) and everything is tight and down as far as it can...
