yeah, the compression is dead on, i was thinking valves but i just wasnt sure. haven't had much time in the last week to try and get my hands dirty. im also getting some backfire, not sure if that would be related to buring oil or not

yeah, no way im spending that much on wiring. if anything i was thinking about r-wiring the whole system from a chopper/bobber style. super simple. but that would take a ton of time. ill figure out the headlight and switch. thanks for the info

trying to find out what size my fork tubes are so i can slap on a pair of clip on bars. anybody know what size in mm the forks are?? and.......where to find a descent pair of clip ons . something in the 100 dollar range?

well whats happening is the clutch is slipping at around 5-7000 rpms. i figured it was the plates because they do wear out and my bike was ridden a ton before i bought it. 1 - where can i find those race springs for a cb 350 four, not a twin. 2 - if its not the clutch i would love input

its definitely a consistent knocking at idle, a deeper sounding knocking, not a clicking like the valves or lifters. and it sounds like its coming from the bottom end and it has been getting a little louder in the last couple months.

my 72 cb350 four has a knock in the engine only heard at idle (1200rpm) and im am thinking it could be something to do with the rods or rod bearings...... any ideas guys??? i know that if this is the case im going to have to pull the engine and do some major work but if there is any other chance...

also....one more tip on the actual shaping of the foam. try to keep with the same lines as your frame and the tank. it looks great when you can stay with the same shapes and contours of the tank and frame lines. its just a note, obviously, but it will look great when you do.

i did the same type of seat build, i have shaped surf boards in the past and i figured i would just design my own cowl and seat as cheap as possible. heres a picture of when i was done with the glassing and all that. i just used a 1/4 inch peice of ply wood as the base , not done with it yet but...
