If you can get a multimeter, check your battery. As the other poster said, if it's dead or fluids low, no amount of charging will help. What your experienced, plus a low battery has caught me out countless times.

I had some carb issue recently too, it's a 350 twin, so different. However, one recommendation was to sync the carbs, and I believe all the carbs on the 750 are physically linked, so you can easily bench sync. (YouTube has step by step tutorials)

Vacuum gauges on order. Pulled the carbs out again, and indeed, the right side "flap" that leads to the engine, not the air filter side, is fully shut, and the left has a slight gap. The idle screw on the right carb does indeed create a gap in the "flap", but not enough as the screw isn't long...
