i had a buddy take a look while i started my bike, he said that he's pretty sure it's coming from that tube from the breather hole. =/ he couldn't look close enough since gas was spray'n everywhere and splash'n. =(

The tube is the grey one with a black zip tie.

I started my bike for the first time this summer a couple weeks ago, with no luck! as soon as i got it to start, gas started to gush out from this tube. Anyone know why?! Or how?! My bike was run'n perfectly before i put it away for the winter. i cleaned the carbs again today and tried starting...

My riding permit expired in May so i didn't think to start up my CB450 'til this past saturday. As for my first attempt to start it, i realized the battery had died so it recharged it with a battery maintainer. after 10 mins or so, i attempted to start it again. This time, i got it to start...so...

If it fits the 73, i'll be glad to buy it!

Does it matter what year cb450? I've got a 73 cb450 i've been think'n 'bout install'n electric ignition.

I'm in the same boat as you! I bought the tan ribbed seat from DCC this past fall. It's been sit'n in my closet since.:( spring is right around the corner and i'm panicking. No welder, not grinder...:/ i want to keep the hinges on my stock frame as well. Kanti, may i ask if you've done any...

Now, for the rear sets!

I went ahead n bought new clip-ons for my bike as well as aftermarket headlight ears!

I appologize for not being more detailed in my description, everyone. it's the clip on bolts that are hitting my tank.:( i have no choice but to get new bars at this point....

Being the Noob that i am, in making my decision to install clip-ons, i've encountered the problem of tank clearance!! so here is where the customizing will come in to play, BUT after an 2 hrs online searching for remedies...i've come up with NOTHING but "clip-on tank...

And once again, u come to my Rescue!!!! how much would u be willing to take to part w this seat, Tedd? I shall forever be in your DTT debt!!!

thanks for everyone's input!!! i JUST called to cancel my clubman bar-order. i've got the clip-ons in hand and i've just purchased a set of new headlight ears. ready to set it all up, maybe!
