I just noticed one of the yellow wires coming off of the rectifier on my 75 cb750 has melted almost through and gets super hot when engine is running. Any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix. Thought about cutting out melted wire and replacing but is there a bigger problem at hand?
Here's a loaded question I'm sure, but I am open to all answers and input.
What motor oil do you CB750 guys run? I've heard everything from partial sythetic to non-synthetic due to wet clutch systems in our engines. I've also read about Shell's Rotella T6 oil as being "the best" oil for our...
Can anyone recommend a well fitting cover for a cb750 with cafe style bars? I had to throw away my last one, which was baggy anyways, because the local stray cats pissed all over it. Brings me to my next question...does anyone know of a well fitting cover that ALSO doesnt attract cats to piss...
I recently installed a new oil tank and put new hoses and clamps on, but i have a leak escaping through the clamps on both return and feed bungs of the tank. I tried really cranking the clamps but I think this only made it worse. Any ideas? Is there any type of sealant i can use?
Thanks
Ryan
Is anyone using one of these oil tanks from Benjie? I was wondering of the tank's oil route matching stock. Thanks

I have a 1975 CB750 and my engine ceased. Looking to buy a running 750 motor with good compression. I'm located in Los Angeles, CA. Local pickup would be best, but I can also pay freight if the price makes sense. Thanks!!
Hi all, I'm looking to buy a set of newish looking fork caps for my CB750. I believe they are the same from the CB550, CB500, and CB400. So any will do. Mine are all rusted and I'd like a pair that are more on the shiny side. Pictures are welcome. Thanks!!
I am selling my Honda Super Hawk Leather Motorcycle Jacket because it never fit right and I need to get something else. I ordered it online and it's always fit me a little big. I'm 6'2", 195lb, and the jacket is a size 46. The jacket has a few extra patches on the sleeves to add to the cafe...

so i've been noticing a bit of backfiring and popping from my exhaust. i think it may have something to do with a small exhaust leak i have where my headers meet my muffler. its a crap custom job where the muffler just fit over the end of the header pipe. i didnt weld it or anything and the fit...
