    1976 Suzuki GT750 Smoker

We hit all the hot spots and of course the "Tree of Shame" at Deals Gap. [url=https://flic.kr/p/PaZ516] Bad Buffalo looks pretty compact in comparison to the 750F. The Cherohala Skyway

    1976 Suzuki GT750 Smoker

2016 Ride Update: At the Ride or Rot show 2016 Bad Buffalo lead the vintage ride. A few aesthetic changes for the season and not much else. After 5 sets of tires and 15,000 miles since the build completion the bike is solid. On the way to Barber this year we rode 550 miles in the Smoky...

Thanks Drewski! Means a lot coming from another smoker owner with a great build such as yours. To ALL, thanks! Great community support here at Do The Ton where everyone and every build is excepted.

NOVEMBER 2014 - DO THE TON BIKE OF THE MONTH - VOTE!

Hey thanks for the sportsmanship bradj, class act! Yeah my GT was at Mid-Ohio last year 2013 not 3 years ago... it wasn't quite finished 3 years ago. That was the longest road trip with it up to that point, somewhere over 600 miles for the weekend riding it all over the place there and back. I...

What Cycle World wrote about riding the GT750 in 1972. LOL! I have owned several 72 J models and they are classics, but no comparison. More fun with modern rubber, suspension, 100lbs lighter & 40% more HP.

NOVEMBER 2014 - DO THE TON BIKE OF THE MONTH - VOTE!

Lost count on how many versions of Bad Buffalo were worked through. Here is historical photo review. Bad Buffalo has seen 3 tanks, 4 sets of wheels, 3 sets of brakes, 3 swing arms, 4 tail designs, 3 fork set-ups, 3 custom sets of rear-sets & 2 sets of shocks. Only 5 original parts remain and...

NOVEMBER 2014 - DO THE TON BIKE OF THE MONTH - VOTE!

So this 1976 GT750 began it's life in MI. By the time it was sold at auction on ebay in 2002 it was pretty rough and a great candidate for a project: Far from ready but one version before final evolution. GSXR Swingarm dual shock weld up Tarozzi rearsets custom bracket Box O Carbs! Keihin...

NOVEMBER 2014 - DO THE TON BIKE OF THE MONTH - VOTE!

Man, here is some perspective I had not thought about in years. I turned 46 last month and it is hard to believe that I got my first 1972 J model GT750 28 years ago. Even stranger the 72 was already 16 years old. In high school my best friend growing up had a 1977 KZ650. It was kinda "Mad Maxed"...

    1976 Suzuki GT750 Smoker

I had a 3 into 1 on one of 72J models. It was super light and gave good low RPM grunt but petered out on the top end. Love the way it sounded though. Now (in my experience) the Jemco chambers are the opposite, power is at the top say'n "please rape me!" I have no dyno experience with either to...

Wait until you ride with them, they are LOUD! The Gopro setup on my bike is at the front and kills the sound by 50%. Most of the time I ride with ear plugs. The sound is amazing if you like that short of thing, lol!

    1976 Suzuki GT750 Smoker

Thanks Gary. I am not sure you need the modern frame unless you really want to just do something trick and maybe overcomplicated. There is a guy over on the Sundial site that has one he is building, not sure if it has been completed yet. Anyway it can be done of course. The main objective of...

    1976 Suzuki GT750 Smoker

10/30/14: So I got the Bad Buffalo out for a run today. I made a short video walk around of the bike running & riding. I also Ripped through a few turns with the Jemco pipes whaling and six pot Tokicos doing their job (remaining mindful of motorists, hidden driveways and pedestrians of course)...

Teazer, if there was anyone I should take up on an offer like that it would be you! I am sure your magic could make it scream & with your special touch. However, nothing that radical is in the plans... only a make over on the aesthetics is what I have in mind for it's final evolution with...

    1976 Suzuki GT750 Smoker

50gary, I did not put the tags on the page Ken did (the admin for the page) and apparently he does not realize it is a triple smoker or it was an error. No Not putting a 4 stroke in the bike, lol!

    1976 Suzuki GT750 Smoker

Out for a fall ride the other day. Not much has changed with Bad Buffalo this year. However, modifications are in the works for the next evolution. Top secret for now though. Bad Buffalo likes his corn to stay bulked up. At the "Ride or Rot" show earlier this year in Ft. Wayne Indiana...
