    CB125s My First 2-Wheeler - stretched and mono-shock

Loose ground is probably not it. Quite the opposite, if there is no path to ground, no current will flow, you need 15A of current to blow that fuse that's quite a bit. Likely a short downstream of the fuse or voltage going too high.

    CB125s My First 2-Wheeler - stretched and mono-shock

I went partial 12v you could say. I ditched the battery on my bike so the electronics only work when its running, and I have the lines to the ignition left in the original configuration. The headlight is a piaa auxiliary driving light meant for a car that works just fine off of the original...

    CB125s My First 2-Wheeler - stretched and mono-shock

added about 3.25" to the arm. The shock is the OEM part from a Honda Grom, and I added about .25" of preload. The chain clears the upper loop of the swingarm by a finger so its good, it can slightly brush the swingarm pivot, just as it always has.

    CB125s My First 2-Wheeler - stretched and mono-shock

Thanks Royal, I changed the exhaust to give myself more room for the monoshock setup and also I always smell like exhaust when I get done riding this bike, I am hoping to reduce that with the lower positioning. Otherwise the exhaust cleared the rear tire just fine with the dual rear shock setup...

New to DTT, and starting a '73 CB125 cafe build!

looks good, similar to mine im working on... the guys reading my thread are giving me tremendous amounts of shtt for wanting to go +2" over on the rear shock height, you will have to report back on here if the 1.25" over stock causes you any problems with steering stability, if you dont mind.

    CB125s My First 2-Wheeler - stretched and mono-shock

Re: CB125s My First 2-Wheeler okay, made some adjustments.. to make the chain clear the pivot and the rest of the swing arm, I pulled up the droop to set the rear shock at 2" over stock. does that make for a better MAXIMUM amount of lift and adjust down to stock from there as needed? It...

    CB125s My First 2-Wheeler - stretched and mono-shock

Re: CB125s My First 2-Wheeler yea it might be on the small side for me.. Im 6"1' 185 I can ride it at stock height, but where I would like to put the rear sets comfortably, seems very low to the ground and may be close to scraping the ground if the bike is leaned over too far. I think...
