They didn't hit my reserve... so they didn't GO anywhere. I'm talking with the guy that was the high bidder. He's made me a very fair offer on them. I have an interested party locally... so if I can't work something out there I'll probably take his offer. It's very close to what I would have...
This is mine. Not going to get around to the project. Had it a few years. Cost a lot, my reserve is way less. Good luck!

This is mine. I'm selling it. It's almost NOS. You won't find a nicer one.

There are 12" baffles (Swiss cheese type) cut down to 10" inserted in the pipes.
Those tips were on the bike when I got it. I think they were something available in the 70's but not now. I'm lucky to have them.

I'm sure you've been done with this for a while now, but I haven't been on the forum for months. I did shorten the springs by 1" to add 1/2" of additional preload. Hope you figured that out.

That one came from Dime City. Those dudes are awesome, buy everything from them you can. Here is the link.
Thanks for the props. Can't wait to get her out again. Road the red one for a couple hours yesterday. Was nice!!!

Honestly, if you are looking for a bike to really "ride" I would stay away from the Firestones. They are not a performance tire... the Avon AM26's on my other bike are much more performance friendly.
That being said, I knew that going in I was going for style over performance and so I went with...
I'm down. I have a few buddies around the ICT here that would probably meet up too. The next two weekends are pretty busy for me... but I could do Sunday the 7th in the afternoon for a bit... like between 1pm and 5pm ish. Would that work for anyone?

I'm actually really starting to lean toward the BMW 2002's... I've found one here in town that looks to be a great deal. I'm trying to get a time to go look at it... the dude selling and my schedules just haven't jived yet. We'll see.

I hope it becomes a huge trend and hyper-inflates the price if I decide to sell my Red 350 this spring. Plus there will be more people around to ride with. I don't really care what happens, I just love to ride.

Damn. Those Celica's are badass... I'm actually going to look at a '75 BMW 2002 tomorrow morning. It's here locally and has been totally gone through. It's only got 21k on the rebuilt motor by the best BMW shop in the area. It looks really good... we'll see how it goes.
Having owned a Passat...
Another buddy suggested Datsun 510's... I've been looking at pics. Love 'em. The 2002 is pretty cool too... I'm in the midwest... so buying one in Toronto is a bit out of the question... guess you'll just have to buy it, Tim.

That is a hell of a good suggestion too. I am partial to German cars, I drove a 2000 Passat before my A3... old bimmers do ooze a certain style. - Added to list -
